The Blockade Runner is uniquely located on Wrightsville Beach Island, North Carolina’s accessible outer-bank. On the east side, the resort fronts the Atlantic Ocean with a wide sandy beach while the west side fronts an Intracoastal Waterway harbor and anchorage. The resort offers the most complete water related activities possible.
The Blockade Runner’s Oceanfront offers our guests a “SeaEscape” beach bar with outdoor pool, beach volleyball, sunbathing, surfing, swimming and our oceanfront dining patio. Wrightsville Beach is described in the Waterway Guide as ” one of the world’s most beautiful beaches”. East Restaurant is a local landmark for its superb cuisine and smoke-free atmosphere. Our health spa has a variety of the best workout equipment. The Blockade Runner is the only smoke-free hotel at Wrightsville Beach. All Blockade Runner rooms overlook either the Atlantic Ocean or the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. and our Oceanfront, Harborfront, or Oceanfront with Balcony rooms have queen or king size beds. Guest rooms are tiled for beauty and cleanliness. Kids under 12 stay free. The entire hotel is a wireless high speed internet hot spot.
