Peace of Eden is an magical space, part of a conservancy, on the edge of the Knysna forests in the ‘garden route’ of South Africa. Close to all sorts of amenities (shop, restaurant and garage) and the river, lagoon, forests and beaches, it has a variety of accommodation styles and a one of the hardest working Music Recording Studio around. Run by the owners Jen and Howard and a network of motivated individuals, it encompasses creative and sustainable outlets for those who pass by. If you want to play, there is an audio visual workspace for artists and musicians to record, practice and collaborate on concepts, if you want to stay there are Cottages, forest Canopy Tents, Self Cater Woodcutter Chalets and a cosy Traveler's Lodge. Influenced by its beautiful surroundings, Peace of Eden takes care to emphasize the wonder of it’s nature filled setting. Monkeys, bush buck, porcupine and a stunning variety of birds all find sanctuary here, amongst many others. Wake up to the sound of chattering monkeys and fall asleep to a symphony of frogs and crickets. We even have a resident FGASA nature guide and a licensed South African tour guide part of our staff.

In order to avoid fraud, only make prepayments (reservations or deposits) using a credit card (or any other card that does not require a PIN number for online purchases) or PayPal. Never make an advanced payment using cash, checks, money orders or bank transfers. Learn why.

Cancellation Policy:
CANCELLATIONS:
- Deposits/payments will only be refunded less 20% if we can resell your dates. If not you forfeit your deposit.
- Under special circumstances we give you an accommodation voucher less 25% which can be used upto 9 months later.
XMAS BOOKINGS 01 Dec - 10 Jan - MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY THE 1 DEC prior to arrival, no refunds under any circumstances for those high season dates

Early departures and date changes. There is no refund for ealry departures or late arrivals under any circumstances. Date changes are acceptable during the year if we can accommoate them, but not for the Xmas or other high season times. - Please ensure your dates are correct, especially for high season times.
