In 1994, I started studying Automation Engineering at Universidad de La Salle, Bogota, Colombia, but after two years I left school to focus full time on my business. My professional career led me then to Miami, where I founded Torrenegra Labs, before moving to New York in 2000. Here in New York, my new hometown, I have co-founded several Internet startups.

I’m an Industrial Engineering from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, I had an internship at the Tecnológico de Monterrey and a diploma in Airlines Business Management from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. My previous experience includes management of a variety of projects and departments at both LAN Airlines and at Metrogas (in areas like finances, projects, commercial and information technologies). I’m a passionate traveler, who enjoys time spent with nature, as well as whatever other pleasant surprises life has to offer me.
